What's interesting here is not what a snoozer Ted Kennedy is in this 1979 interview, it's that he apparently chose to hold a rally or two during live studio tapings of "The Price is Right." (I'm also trying to figure out why he has a framed photo of Gomer Pyle in drag behind him.)

I've got it, I've got it! That photo in the background is none other than People's Temple leader Jim Jones without the sunglasses. Okay, maybe Max Von Sydow as Jesus in "The Greatest Story Ever Told," w/o the beard.
