Why we're screwed

We all agree that those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. Like it's our fault. It is, partly. But we forget often that the writers of history have de facto control over what we're allowed to remember.

Listen to "Meltdown" author Thomas E Woods here. The whole segment is good, but the first two minutes are key.

OK, I'm 57. My wife is 61. I'm starting to think that maybe we should be on "the other side" since we're getting close to retirement. We should be rooting for all the perks we can get out of the gub'ment. What do we care? We have no kids, who cares who pays for it. In the end, it will be the USSA anyway and no one will pay for anything.

Yea. I'm switching. Sorry splash, I'll be bookmarking the DailyKOS and checking out how to vote myself some benies.
