We all agree that those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. Like it's our fault. It is, partly. But we forget often that the writers of history have de facto control over what we're allowed to remember.

OK, I'm 57. My wife is 61. I'm starting to think that maybe we should be on "the other side" since we're getting close to retirement. We should be rooting for all the perks we can get out of the gub'ment. What do we care? We have no kids, who cares who pays for it. In the end, it will be the USSA anyway and no one will pay for anything.
